Black Pearl Sport Fishing offers premier guided sport fishing charters on Lake Michigan out of Algoma, Wisconsin. Captain Patrick is USCG-licensed and brings decades of experience on the Great Lakes.
Our fleet of two custom sport fishing vessels accommodates up to six anglers per trip, providing high-quality gear, expert guidance, and unforgettable fishing experiences targeting salmon and trout. 38' Rampage Sport Fisherman
Twin Cat C9 Diesels · Tuna Tower
Our flagship vessel — a 38-foot Rampage Sport Fisherman built for serious offshore pursuit on Lake Michigan. Twin Caterpillar C9 diesel engines deliver raw power and range, while the full tuna tower gives Captain Patrick an unmatched vantage point to spot fish and manage spread. This is the heavy-hitter of the fleet.
Vessel Two
36' Trojan Sport Fisherman
Complete 2024 Refit · Full Raymarine Electronics
Fully refit in 2024, this 36-foot Trojan is a custom fishing machine. Twin 8.1 Crusader engines were installed alongside a full Raymarine electronics package. The cabin features custom lure storage, updated seating, and a completely rebuilt galley.

Booking Note: A deposit is required to hold your trip. Wisconsin Fishing License and Trout/Salmon Stamp are required for anglers age 16 and older — these are not included in charter pricing. Cancellation policies apply; contact us for details. All trips are priced per group, not per person.

Tips for a Great Trip
What to Bring
All Gear Provided
We supply all rods, reels, tackle, and lures — you don't need to bring any fishing equipment. Just show up ready to fish.
Get Your License First
Anglers age 16 and older must have a valid Wisconsin Fishing License plus the Trout/Salmon Stamp. Pick one up in advance at a local retailer or online at dnr.wi.gov.
Dress for the Lake
Lake Michigan weather can be unpredictable — bring layers even on warm days. Wind on the water feels much colder than on shore, especially in the morning.
Bring a Cooler
We'll clean and fillet your catch at the dock — bring a cooler with ice to take your fish home fresh. Nothing beats eating your own catch the same day.
Arrive Early
Plan to arrive at the dock 15–20 minutes before departure time. Early mornings often produce the best bite, and we leave on schedule.
